Me & My Two Sensible Business Partners

I'm re-reading "the E Myth Revisited" again by Michael E. Gerber and I break out in a cold swet when I come to chapters about the Entrepreneur, the Manageer and the Technician. He should re-titled the chapter "Me, Myself and I". Understanding the fact that we have all three of these characters within us helps me to even better deal with "My Number".

I've failed in the past at putting together business efforts and/or keeping them alive, little did I know that there was this inner struggle within me with me the guy who dreamed the idea and me the guy who tried to run the operation and finally with me the guy who did the actual work. So whose fault was it that my efforts failed? ME! ME! and ME!

2009 is just days away and I'm past "Making Money 101" http://7million7years.com/making-money-101/ well at least I understand it better. I'm ready to move on to "Making Money 201" http://7million7years.com/201/ Or I should say "we" are ready to move on.

I did however notice that in both areas, 101 & 201 the word sensible keeps popping up. in '101' it talked about "sensible saving strategy" and in '201' it mentioned "sensible investments". Therefore I have drawn the conclusion that: "All three of us, the entrepreneur, the manager and the technician" and going to have to settle for remembering and staying in our 'place' if we are going to make any since of reaching "our Number". The real challenge will to stay out of each others way.
