I think I'm like most parents - I just want the best for my kids and the time to enjoy them. I realize that money isn't everything... I realize that money doesn't buy happiness directly - but I'm also smart enough to realize that if I don't have enough of it, I can't do all of the things I'd like to do with my children. We know how to have fun on a budget, don't get me wrong - but the problem is the amount of time required to WORK in order to bring in the money we need just to fulfill the basic needs & a tiny bit extra. You know what I mean? Right now, I trade my time for money, which means in order to put food on the table, heat our home, clothe the children, etc - I have to be working. Time spent working means less time spent enjoying the company of my children.

And so... I'm ready to do something about it. I am making a choice not to continue living the rest of our lives this way. I want, and can provide, more for our family - and it all starts by knowing what my "number" is - and then the plan to get there.

Hi Debbie,
All things are enjoyed more in the pursuit than in the obtaining of them. (Will. Shakespeare?). Happiness is not found primarily in money or material possissions but it does help. You appear not to be doing too badly at present. Keep up the good work.
Cheers,

Patrick

Maybe I should have said 'active' because an Information Product sold on the internet IS a business :)

... and, you're already on your way with some neat 'passive income' projects - some on the drawing boards and others already bringing in the dough!
